Masamichi Abe (阿部 将道 Abe Masamichi) is a video game director and planner for Nintendo Co., Ltd.
Abe joined Nintendo Co., Ltd., EAD after a successful tenure at Namco Ltd. He is currently working with Nintendo Software Technology Corporation.
He helped develop and co-direct several titles, including Knuckle Heads, Tekken, Tekken 2, Alpine Racer, Alpine Racer 2 and Alpine Surfer while at Namco. Since joining Nintendo, he has helped develop titles such as 1080° Snowboarding, Pikmin,Pikmin 2,Metroid Prime Hunters and Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again.[1] Abe currently works at Nintendo Software Technology Corporation in U.S. .
